Conferences

COFLT hosts two professional development conferences annually. Our fall conference is typically two days, beginning on the Friday of the Statewide Inservice Day in early October. Our spring conference is always the first Saturday in March. In selecting sites for our conferences, we aim to to strengthen our partnerships with local institutions by co-hosting our events at schools, colleges, and universities across the state. In even years we partner with WAFLT (Washington Association of Foreign Language Teachers) for a joint fall conference. Our next joint conference will be in October 2012 in Vancouver, Washington.
